- The process engineering function plays an integral role in supporting Element Sixs production activities ensuring processes are under control and performing at specified quality levels.
- This work includes understanding the fundamentals of processes engineering process controls and continuous improvement.
- You will be the owner for process verification validation and improvement.
- You will be responsible for creating / sustaining and improving processes
- Identification and control of key process performance parameters and measures such as:
- Reporting monitoring and governance of process control Cpk.
- Establishes process control limits and ensures process is operating within limits and product meets quality requirements.
- Responsible for process capability and performance.
- Identify and implement countermeasures to meet process performance and yield targets
- Build deep dive understanding of process variables and implement root cause analysis to deliver robust solutions.
- You will be responsible for the creation implementation and documentation of process specifications such as:
- Create and maintain process control plans specifications and support creation of standard work instructions.
- Takes ownership of process KPIs /FMEAs /control plans/ capability reports & continuous improvement plans
- Ensure BoMs and routes are correct and up to date
- You will be responsible for continuous improvement & process development such as:
- Focal point for process change control
- Drive process improvement / cycle time reduction
- Lead PPS 3Cs to address process concerns quality issues and implement countermeasures
- Proactively seek out new production technology to deliver step change advance in process capability.
- A third level qualification in Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical/Process/Production Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience.
- An openness to new technologies and ability to followup on these independently.
- A motivated individual with strong can do attitude.
- Ability to lead communicate and appropriately influence project team members and work with cross functional teams.
- Ability to relate and work effectively with staff at all levels in the organization.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal across all management levels.
- Strong analytical skills.
