Responsibilities

• Manage and analyze complex datasets to create actionable insights for Quality and Patient Safety.
• Use programming languages such as SQL and Cerner Command Language (CCL) to create and refine database queries.
• Participate in the development of data models.
• Present insights effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Extract, interpret and visualize reports, scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to support performance measurement and quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide data for accreditation and regulatory reporting and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Management Systems and/or Business Administration or other related field or years of experience in lieu of degree.
• 2+ years of data analysis and report generation in hospital or healthcare facility.
• Proven track record of using SQL to develop complex queries from the electronic medical record.
• Experience working in Cerner Command Language (CCL) in facilities utilizing Cerner as their electronic medical record.
• Maintain knowledge of clinical risk management databases and systems to allow for automated reporting.
• Proficiency with visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
• Understand and follow facility data governance policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of clinical and regulatory standards.
