Business Systems Manager (ERP System Management) Job Purpose: Seeking an experienced SAP Manager to oversee our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, currently running on SAP. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing the existing system, evaluating alternative ERP solutions, and, if necessary, planning and executing an upgrade. This candidate will manage a team of engineers and developers in the deployment and support of Teckwah’s business systems and lead the team to implement customizations and new capabilities to fulfill users’ and customers’ needs. Job Description: Lead a team of support engineers and developers to provide operational support to users of the ERP system. This includes managing the team to provide level 1 and 2 support, addressing daily operational issues and requests, and offering technical advice to resolve system and operational problems. Engage with users and customers for new enhancements and modifications to the systems for new deployments or implementations. Plan these implementations, manage the team and resources for deployment, and, if necessary, collaborate with subject matter experts and consultants to implement enhancements that meet user needs. Understand existing and future operational needs. Assist the head of the department in conducting a comprehensive review and assessment of the ERP systems. This includes planning and gathering further operational requirements, matching them with the capabilities of the existing (and upgraded) system, researching and evaluating alternative ERP systems to determine if better solutions exist, and proposing a suitable approach for the next-generation ERP system. Lead the implementation or upgrade of the system. Understand system lifecycle management and processes, ensuring all system implementations, developments, and support adhere to TW-defined processes and industry best practices. Oversee the daily operations of the SAP system, ensuring its stability, reliability, and performance. As the leader of the team, plan and manage team members' support activities, training, and career development to fulfill their respective roles in Teckwah. Job Requirements: Experience & Qualification Degree or equivalent qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science / Computer Engineering, Engineering or related discipline. With 2 implementation experience in ERP systems. At least 5 years’ experience in managing SAP systems, with a strong background on SAP / S/4 HANA. Proficiency in SAP modules (esp FICO, WM, QA, MM, PP, SD), and with knowledge of SAP Basis, and ABAP programming. Project Management: a proven track record of managing large-scale IT projects, preferably ERP implementations or upgrades. Skills & Abilities Project planning and control skills to enable expedient rollout of salient business systems. Keep abreast of business development and continuously ensuring the relevance of business systems. Able to develop systematic and structured processes to ensure continued sustenance of implemented systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team to achieve project goals. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex systems and processes.
