Associate Vice President Trade Operations, Asset Management About the Company Top-tier asset management firm Industry Financial Services Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking an AVP Trade Operations professional to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for covering the full trade lifecycle across fixed income, securities, derivatives, and FX. This includes trade confirmation, settlement, trade breaks, cash reconciliation, payments, and corporate actions. The role also involves utilizing trade management systems, interacting with traders, custodians, and brokers, as well as being the point of contact for product control, internal/external audit, and compliance. The ideal candidate should have 3-6 years' experience in trade operations or middle office experience within an asset management or investment bank, with a strong knowledge of the relevant financial instruments.

Applicants for the AVP Trade Operations role at the company should be comfortable with Excel and have exposure to trade management systems such as DTC, Murex, Aladdin, SWIFT, and Fedwire. A Bachelor's degree in a finance-related subject is desirable. The role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work on testing/UAT with various systems, project work, and trade break root cause analysis. The position is hybrid remote, with a requirement to be in the midtown Manhattan office for 3 days a week.
