Automotive software V&V (Validation & Verification) team is responsible for development of infrastructure to test wide range of low-level embedded software for the latest portfolio of NXP microprocessor and microcontroller products. The software V&V team has more than 15 years of experience with development of complex test infrastructures including custom test benches for domain specific use cases. A large number of tests and the requirement to run most of the tests on final NXP hardware are supported by a highly skilled team covering multiple domains including continuous integration, continuous delivery, cluster computing, test & measurement, and industrial automation. You will be responsible for development of infrastructure for remote development and execution of automotive software tests. By joining our Czech team, you will have the opportunity to be part of a high performance and enthusiastic software development team in a friendly and dynamic work environment. You will have the occasion to get in contact with different NXP Automotive teams (solution teams, hardware designers, customer engineers), give feedback and propose solutions. Your responsibilities:- Design and develop control software for globally deployed test equipment
- Design and develop frameworks to run stress, fault-injection, performance, and conformance tests of hardware dependent software components (drivers)
- Develop scalable infrastructure to reliably build and run automotive test applications
- Continuously improve existing test infrastructure to support new product requirements
- Work with systems teams, field and customer engineers to understand current industry trends and customer needs
- Experience with Python scripting language with knowledge of data structures and algorithms (stacks, queues, trees, graphs, sorting, searching)
- Interest in network protocols including UDP, TCP/IP, SSH,
- Experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems
- Willingness to learn instrument control and communication protocols
- English level A1/A2
