About the role: This role focuses on designing and delivering impactful training programs to foster growth, build high performance, and enhance leadership capabilities at hipages. You’ll champion innovative Talent Development programs, driving engagement, collaboration, and performance across the business. Offering the flexibility of part-time work (30 hours per week) in a dynamic, values-driven organisation, this role provides the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. You will also have one direct report, managing the People & Culture Administrator. - Execute the Talent Development strategy and roadmap annually, aligning with business goals.
- Lead initiatives like Women in Leadership program (Empower), New Leader Induction, Induction program, Leadership Charter, Sales graduate programs, and Future of Work skills discovery.
- Deliver and update leadership programs for current and emerging leaders, providing coaching and career pathing support.
- Implement innovative learning strategies and programs to build individual and team capabilities.
- Design and execute career pathways that align with role progression and business needs.
- Provide coaching to employees and managers to support career growth and succession planning.
- Maintain and enhance the usability of our career path frameworks.
- Enhance and deliver L&D programs, source external providers, and implement diverse learning methods.
- Pioneer new initiatives, curate online content, and maximise ROI through our LMS (Docebo) use globally.
- Partner with leaders to create department-specific learning plans.
- Develop resources and tools that promote high performance and engagement.
- Champion Gallup Strengths methodology and work in partnership with our certified coach to embed the methodology across the business.
- Curate learning opportunities to nurture & retain Top Talent.
- Manage the L&D budget.
- Support our ongoing People & Culture processes, such as performance management (Perform & Grow).
- Support any ad hoc team-building efforts.
- Provide guidance to the People & Culture Administrator and leverage data for decision-making.
- Work closely with People & Culture team members and business leaders to deliver targeted solutions.
- Regularly report on training outcomes, progress against goals, and insights to enhance strategies.
- Make informed decisions based on TD data.
- Proven experience working as a Learning & Development (L&D) Manager
- Up-to-date knowledge of effective L&D techniques and various methods applied
- Proven consulting and analytical skills to develop pragmatic solutions that support business strategy.
- Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated strategic and commercial acumen, and ability to handle data confidentiality
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills, and communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management and change management skills.
- Positive utilisation of learning programs (internal and online).
- Leadership attendance in all leader programs is 95%.
- Career Progression: Internal movements & promotions represent more than 15%.
- Reduced attrition rate as a result of people leaving the organisation because they do not align with their people leader or they do not see hipages as offering any career opportunities.
- 90% of team members have career development programs and are proactively using these to upskill.
- Employee Engagement: Positive feedback on learning and development initiatives in engagement surveys.
- Employee Capability: Increase in skills and competencies through feedback surveys and manager assessments.
