Procurement cum Supply Chain Executive

Job Duties:

1. Purchasing, checking inventory, filling orders, and ensuring the quality of products.
2. Sourcing and purchasing experience required.
3. Prefer Mandarin candidates who are required to liaise with China office PIC and China suppliers and respond to emails.
4. Able to source material in a short time.
5. Manage daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing, and following up on Purchase Orders delivery and shipment schedules.
6. Responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials from both local and overseas vendors.
7. Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.
8. Generate purchase orders from ERP software and email to suppliers.
9. Follow up, track purchase orders, and ensure timely delivery from suppliers.
10. Resolve supply, quality, service, and invoicing issues with suppliers.
11. Professional communication skills are essential when conversing and negotiating with vendors.
12. Ensure sufficient inventory at all times of the safety stock materials, practice prudent purchasing, and prevent over-stocking.
13. Assist import shipments; liaise with suppliers and shipping department on documentation required for import clearance matters.
14. Assist in ISO Annual Supplier Performance Review. Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices, and ensure all criteria are met according to the organization.
15. Other ad-hoc duties.

Qualifications:

1. Primarily from the manufacturing industry.
2. Preferred 2-3 years relevant working experience in a similar capacity.
3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills with suppliers.
4. Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Hardworking, assertive, and meticulous with a positive attitude.
