Quality Assurance Engineer - Cloud Testing

Job Description :Role : Platform & Cloud Services: QA Engineer / Senior QA EngineerRequirements :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field- Proven experience as a Cloud QA Engineer in the software industry- Familiarity with REST Apis, cloud technologies, and architectures- Hands-on experience with test automation tools/frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Appium, JMeter, TestNG, Robot Framework etc) and Load Generator Tools- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems (e.g. Git)- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python or Ruby- Understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies relevant to the telecom industry- Experience with network configuration management tools- Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security measures in cloud services- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. GCP)- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially when working with cross-functional teams- Relevant certifications in Cloud QAWhat we offer :- Unique opportunity to participate in developing and running world's first software-defined direct-to-device satellite network and service- Access to world-class team and talent across tech domains: software, hardware, chipsets,telecom, satellite and network virtualisation- Open, transparent, inclusive culture that blends the Silicon Valley, Nordic and South AsiaCharacteristics : Responsibilities :- Design and implement Automation test suite to validate Customer facing Rest APIs and all the features of Cloud Components- Develop framework and test suite for load and regression testing. - Candidate would be responsible for validating the system with million of data transactions, generating reports andKPIs :- Automate build process with regression test suite using Jenkins pipeline and Robot Framework- Automate operational processes related to network management, provisioning, and configuration- Develop scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks and improve overall efficiency- Ensure that changes to the Skylo network are version-controlled and reproducible- Set up monitoring solutions to measure the health and performance of both software applications and network infrastructure- Collaborate with telecom engineers, software developers, and other cross-functional teams to streamline QA processes and enhance collaboration- Inculcate accountability and ownership within the team by promoting robust test framework and design, automate validation and build process and documentation practices (ref:hirist.tech)
