Quality Engineer (QMS)- Line Quality

Position: Quality Engineer (QMS)- Line Quality Location: Sanjan Nearby Vapi Experience: 2 - 3 Years Industries: Engineering Responsibilities:

• Overseeing all the Quality validation documents/parameters/criteria and verifying it for the assigned department.
• Overseeing all the QA activities within the assigned department, identifying areas of improvement and improving the processes wherever necessary.
• Adhere to the process of line inspection and ensure tagging process.
• Verification of the product and details provided for First Piece and Lot Inspection.
• Timely data to be provided for the departmental review mechanism.
• Adherence to the approved parameters and product quality for the internal customers & external customers.
• Conclusion of NC material.
• Resourceful to the requirement of the Inspectors under their supervision.
• Preparation and validation of the QAP, TPI reports and documents.
• Preparation and validation of the MTC reports and documentation
• Gemba- To have adherence to the scheduled Gembas within the shopfloor
• Development of the Inspectors under their supervision
• Ensuring the safety working environment for the team and timely updations of HIRA & EAI and other safety related parameters.
• Adherence to the timeline for Projects and OKR’s assigned.
• Well versed with steel wire, steel structure codes and local/international standards like IS, ASTM, BS.
• Knowledge of Management systems ISO 9001, ISO 14000 & ISO 45000.
• Understanding of RCA & CAPA, Why Why analysis, 7 QC Tools, 8D, etc.
• 5S
• Deviation Handling
• Know-how of selection of Testing method for Raw Material, Semi-Finished Good and Finish Good as per product and process characteristics
• Principles of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing
• Calibration.
