An exciting job role has recently become available at the Bury Metropolitan Borough Council. They are looking for an AMHP. To be successful in this role you must be an approved AMHP and registered with social work England, and have post-qualified experience. Benefits of the role:

- Provide a dedicated AMHP response during daytime working hours, supported by backup and contingency rotas.
- Ensure referrals are managed within AMHP rota resources, completing multiple assessments when necessary.
- Maintain professional standards through ongoing development, training, and regular supervision.
- Promote and adhere to principles set out in the Mental Health Act and relevant legislation.
- Act as an AMHP on behalf of Bury Council, responding to referrals, conducting assessments, and coordinating with professionals.
- Ensure accurate documentation, maintaining records, and completing AMHP reports.
- Liaise with partner agencies, contribute to forums, and provide input on policy development.
- Social Work England registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK licence
- Post-qualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
