NO Closing date Please note, PA employers are unable to accept applications from those looking for Visa Sponsorship The post: Personal assistant required to join a team to support a 34yr old man who has profound learning difficulties, epilepsy and challenging behaviour to live an independent and active life. Duties will include assisting with aspects of daily living including personal care, domestic tasks and social life/hobbies. You will be required to work as part of a team on a rota basis with 2 PA’s on shift at any one time. Hours and Rate of Pay: The post will consist of 12 hours shifts from 9am to 9pm, days to be confirmed After interview if the applicant is successful there will be 3-4 paid trial shifts before the post is offered formally. Night Shift and Sleepovers may be required Rate of pay: £14.18 per hour and sleepovers paid at £11.79 per hour. Notes/Essential criteria: Experience of dealing with people with challenging behaviour would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided. General good health is important as there will be some outdoor activities. Caring experience would also be desirable but not essential A full UK drivers licence is essential.
