Authorising Engineer

I am recruiting on behalf of a client working on a Nuclear Defence project in Berkshire, for an Authorsied Engineer on a long term contract. The succesful candidate will play a key role in overseeing electrical operations on various projects. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and manage electrical work, ensuring high standards of safety and quality. * Coordinate and supervise a team of electricians and technicians. * Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. * Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly and efficiently. * Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely project completion. * Maintain accurate records and documentation of all electrical work performed. Qualifications: * Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor or in a similar role. * Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations. * Excellent leadership and communication skills. * Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams. * Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. * Relevant certifications or licenses preferred ( 18th Edition IET Electrical Regulations SMSTS etc) * Valid SC Clearance * Nuclear industry experience is desired If this position is of interest to you, please apply below & a member of the team will be in contact with you.
