Description The Technical Representative specializing in HVAC and Refrigeration works within a company specializing in residential, commercial, industrial and/or institutional projects. His primary role is to act as a technical liaison between the company and its customers, providing technical advice, solutions and recommendations to meet their HVAC and refrigeration needs. Responsibilities Act as a technical representative to customers, providing advice and recommendations on HVAC and refrigeration products, systems and solutions tailored to their specific needs. Evaluate customer requirements for heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration, taking into account the characteristics of existing buildings and equipment. Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals to customers, highlighting the benefits and performance of recommended products and solutions. Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales and marketing strategies, identifying market growth opportunities and tracking industry trends. Provide technical support to customers during the sales phase, answering their questions and helping them make informed decisions regarding products and services. Ensure regular follow-up with customers to ensure their satisfaction and establish lasting relationships, while identifying new sales opportunities. Participate in networking and business development activities to promote the company's products and services and expand its customer base. Maintain in-depth knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration industry products, technologies and standards, staying informed of the latest technological advancements and best practices. Collaborate with internal teams, including design, engineering and field service teams, to ensure project satisfaction and success. Requirements Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a related field, an asset. Experience in HVAC and refrigeration, preferably in a technical or sales representative role. In-depth knowledge of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems, as well as design and installation principles. Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients of varying levels of technical expertise. Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs and propose technical solutions tailored to their needs. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and achieve set sales goals. Commitment to excellent customer service and customer satisfaction. Valid driver's license and availability to travel to customer sites as needed.
