We are seeking to recruit a Part Qualified Accountant on behalf of our successful client, based in Co. Mayo
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Maintain and update accounting records and files.
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Prepare and submit tax returns and other financial documentation.
- Collaborate with the finance team on budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Utilize accounting software for data entry and financial analysis.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Essential Criteria for the Role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience with accounting software is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
