Job Title: Receptionist Part-time 36+ hours Per week . (5/7 days including evenings and weekends) Job Location: Sport Ireland Campus, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 Job Purpose: The key function of the Reception role is to facilitate the customer’s needs upon arrival at the Sport Ireland Campus reception desk, while maintaining excellent customer service levels. Responsibilities include following operating procedures, front of house customer interaction, cash handling, and administration. Responsibilities/Tasks: The Receptionist role at Sport Ireland Campus will be based between any of the following Campus facilities:
- Sport Ireland National Aquatic Centre / Aquazone Reception
- Sport Ireland National Indoor Arena
- Campus Conference Centre
- Sport HQ
- Competent use of the Leisure Management Software for bookings/payments/member data
- Maintain a high-quality service for all customers
- Effectively manage a float and reconcile all cash at the end of your shift
- Ensure all customers are awarded the highest priority in the delivery of the service and that a culture of quality is fostered in all staff
- Respond to calls/emails and customer queries within a timely manner, in-line with our Customer Charter Policy
- Responsible for good housekeeping practices ensuring safety, cleanliness, and tidiness are displayed and to ensure all checklists are completed daily
- Provide sales support when required e.g. mail merge or other administration duties
- Upselling of Swim supplies and managing stock
- Protect all company property and safeguard all assets
- Ensure Company Policies and Procedure documents are adhered to
- Required to carry out some additional duties that may be assigned to the role from time to time
- Knowledge of Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Phone answering, query handling
- Stewarding during busy periods at the National Indoor Arena
- Effectively manage Aquazone admissions in-line with the Admission Policy and necessary entry requirements
- Assisting with Aquazone Parties – Hosting party bookings and managing booking times
- Room set-up and assisting with booker requirements for conferencing/meeting room facilities
- Sorting and organizing daily post to be sent
- Minimum age 18 years old
- Minimum Leaving Certificate or equivalent
- Previous Reception experience essential
- Previous experience in the Leisure Industry would be an advantage
- Computer knowledge necessary
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills – In person, on email & over the phone
- Excellent Customer Service – Ability to handle customer queries and feedback
- Cash-Handling Experience
- Computer Skills (Including Microsoft Office and use of tills)
- Excellent organizational skills
