Site Engineer (Geotechnical/Structure)

The Engineer is responsible, but not limited to, the following: Supervise day-to-day construction activities to ensure they align with quality standards and project plans. Maintain communication and coordination with subcontractors and suppliers to progress site activities. Implement quality control processes and conduct inspections with RTOs. Ensure all work conducted meet regulations and industry standards. Monitor, record and report the progress of construction activities. Manage and resolve production, quality, engineering and schedule issues on site. Minimum Qualifications/ Job Experience: Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering recognized by the PE Board or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in the relevant field. At least 2 years of experience in the coordination with utility agencies for projects of similar scale, complexity and nature of work. Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with industry partners and government authorities. Good knowledge and understanding of local regulations pertaining to workplace health, safety, environmental issues in the construction industry. Good knowledge of documentation procedures. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Strong time management skills with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks/ projects at one time. Ability to analyze and synthesize complex issues quickly. Positive attitude and good discipline and good team player. #J-18808-Ljbffr
