Overview: The Senior Principal Engineer - Data Driven is responsible for leading data management and engineering digitalization efforts within large-scale oil and gas projects. The role involves managing data integration processes across various systems, ensuring proper implementation of Smart Plant and AVEVA applications, and aligning with client digitalization strategies. The candidate will oversee tag management, Smart Plant integrations, and interfacing with clients to address their requirements related to engineering data management and digitalization. Responsibilities:
- Lead the data-driven engineering initiatives for projects, ensuring effective data management and integration of digital tools such as Smart Plant and AVEVA applications.
- Manage and oversee tag management processes and Smart Plant integrations, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as CFIHOS.
- Act as a primary interface with clients to align on digitalization requirements and ensure the seamless execution of engineering data initiatives.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize engineering workflows and ensure the smooth implementation of data-driven processes.
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and security of project data, monitoring systems for data quality and integrity.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives in engineering data management, recommending process and tool optimizations based on best practices.
- Provide technical guidance on digitalization strategies, including project planning, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Drive the adoption of new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance engineering efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
- Data Management & Integration: Extensive experience in managing and integrating engineering data using Smart Plant and AVEVA applications, with a strong focus on tag management and Smart Plant integrations.
- Client Interface & Digitalization: Proven ability to interface with clients on digitalization requirements and lead the implementation of data-driven engineering processes in alignment with client needs and industry standards like CFIHOS.
