Mechanical Design Engineer (Senior)

Job Description: Conduct equipment design & development work according to customers and internal specifications. Act as project lead to plan, organize and co-ordinate their respective project’s meetings to review design and ensure projects are kept to schedule. Maintain and control relevant documents related to R & D activities per requirements. Maintain, keep track and ensure Billed Materials is updated. Generate detailed 2D/3D drawings. Raise ECN for update of changes to design and drawings and follow up on approval and ECN flow. Provide technical support to process & production, supply chain & QA for review and troubleshooting of design and drawings. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or relevant disciplines. At least a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in semiconductor or automation equipment design. Candidates with more years of relevant experience would be considered for Senior position. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are required. Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and engineering techniques is required. Plentiful experience in mechanical designs using SolidWorks is preferred. Candidates with Autodesk/AutoCAD Software experience will be an advantage. Solid knowledge and experience in material properties are required for Senior position. Good communication, time management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are required for Senior position. Willingness to travel for overseas projects if required.
