Job Summary The Senior QA/QC Engineer ensures that work/projects are delivered based on good work practices and project specifications to guarantee completion of work at the given time with quality of work that meets or even exceeds the clients' expectations by implementing international quality standards plans and quality procedures in all the construction activities. Job Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the quality and workmanship of every activity, with thorough knowledge of all phases of engineering construction relating to Civil, Architectural, and Structural disciplines interfacing the multidisciplinary operations.
Manage the QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports, site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered, and other QA/QC documents.
Develop and determine all standards to perform inspection and tests on all procedures and oversee all testing methods while maintaining high standards of quality for all processes.
Follow the QA/QC Plans, Approved Method of Statements, Approved Test Plans, and Approved Drawings during the project to meet the project quality requirements and client’s expectations.
Ensure that all available Method Statements, ITPs, and Drawings are approved and are the latest revisions.
Ensure that all approved Method Statements, ITPs, and Drawings are followed on site.
Ensure that all superseded documents are removed from the site.
Prepare work inspection requests (WIR) for each construction activity and submit them to the consultant to ensure they cover all the construction activities done on site.
Ensure that all site items are inspected properly before calling the consultant for inspection.
Ensure that work inspections are carried out as per the plans and advise the construction team on corrections/corrective actions to avoid the rejection of work.
Ensure that all drawings used in the inspection are approved and the latest revisions.
Ensure that 90% of work inspections pass during the first submission.
Conduct quality toolbox and method statements briefing for all activities.
Ensure method statements briefing is carried out for each activity and records are maintained in the monthly Quality report.
Ensure all incoming materials are checked as per the project specifications and approved material submittals.
Ensure that all materials are inspected internally before offering inspection to the consultant and before using them on site.
Raise an NCR to the supplier in case of rejecting any material delivered to site and keep a record of inspections in the monthly Quality report.

Job Knowledge & Skills Knowledge of work-related standards, specifications, and quality systems such as: ISO 9001, QCS, ASTM, BSI, BSEN, ACI, and AASHTO. Have enough technical experience in QC issues. Ability to prioritize and multitask as well as be proactive and deadline-oriented. Ability to interact effectively in English. Ability to read drawings, specifications, standards, and data sheets. Proficient in computer applications and systems such as Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Primavera. Ability to supervise/execute whole sections of a project with minimum management supervision. ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills, are a requirement to be successful in this role. Job Experience Minimum 8 years working experience, 5 years relevant working experience, and 2 years in GCC is a plus. Competencies Collaboration, Accountability, Resilience, Quality, Leadership, Quality Assurance L3, QA Reviews and Inspections L3, Quality Control and Conformance L3, Standard Operating Procedures L3, QA Audits L3. Education Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering. Professional Qualification in MMUP Engineer Registration (UPDA) or Lead Auditor certification (ISO 9001 or equivalent) or ASQC certification (CQM/CQE). #J-18808-Ljbffr
