Marketing & Communication Manager Sales & Marketing Department, Shangri-La Qaryat al Beri, Abu Dhabi We have a great opportunity for an experienced Marketing & Communication Manager to join our Sales & Marketing team. The successful applicant will have a good understanding of the UAE market and a track record in identifying and creating lucrative business partnerships within the region. What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent international degree in Marketing and Communication.
- Minimum 4+ years of international marketing and communications experience.
- Previous experience in Marketing, Communications & PR in a luxurious Hotel/Resort or Marketing/Communications Agency.
- Upholds professional values, ethics, and integrity.
- A passionate marketing and communications professional with a focus on guest communications.
- Demonstrated leadership competencies with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Manages all brand, public relations, social media, advertising, content creation and media buying activities.
- Maintain and direct all third-party related agencies as per the hotel's requirements.
- Manages an effective digital communications and social media strategy to support the overall business objectives.
- Identify potential sponsorship and promotional opportunities for each property and manage the strategic business alliances and relationships.
- Monitor industry trends and keep senior managers appraised of brand perceptions and any potential issues that would have a negative impact on the business.
- Liaise and meet regularly with individual property Leaders to ensure that all specific requirements for marketing related work are managed.
- Effectively communicates with all levels, manage reports.
