(CONSULTING SERVICES - INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANT SELECTION)Country: Pakistan Name of Project: Digital Economy Enhancement ProjectCredit No: 7514-PKAssignment Title: UX DesignerReference No.: PK-NADRA-443682-CS-INDVThe Government of Pakistan has received financing from the International Development Association (IDA) toward the cost of Digital Economy Enhancement Project (DEEP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services, which shall be implemented by the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).The consulting services ("the Services") include professional expertise of UX Designer at a monthly lump sum remuneration. National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) intends to hire services of UX Designer for DEEP to assist project management in the relevant field. The consultant will provide required services maintaining the highest degree of integrity and ethical standards. The individual consultant shall be initially hired for a period of one year, extendable depending upon the project requirement and consultant performance.The detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) for the assignment can be obtained at the address given below or can be downloaded from https://careers.nadra.gov.pk/tor.National Database and Registration Authority invites eligible candidates ("Consultants") to indicate their interest in providing the Services as UX Designer in the Digital Economy Enhancement Project. Interested candidates should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the expected Services. The shortlisting criteria are:BS/BE (4 Years) degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized University (Master's degree in a related field will be preferred). In case of foreign degree, equivalence shall also be required from HEC.At least 10 years of experience in UX/UI Design with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design projects.Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD).Strong understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank's "Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers" (September 2023), setting forth the World Bank's policy on conflict of interest.A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Open Competitive Selection of Individual Consultants method set out in the Procurement Regulations.Further information can be obtained at the address below during office hours 0830 to 1630 hours PST.Expressions of interest can be delivered in written form along with a current resume and copies of all relevant documents to the address below (in person or by mail) by 20th October, 2024 before COB i.e. 16:30 PST.
