Description The Construction Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, directing and controlling activities related to the management of construction projects. The Construction Coordinator plays a key role in coordinating between the various stakeholders, monitoring the progress of the work and ensuring compliance with budgets, schedules and quality standards. This role is essential to ensure that projects are carried out efficiently and in accordance with contractual specifications. Responsibilities •Collaborate with the team to define objectives, establish schedules and allocate the necessary resources for each project. •Liaise between site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients to ensure smooth communication and smooth execution of the work. •Monitor the use of materials and labor, while optimizing resources to maximize efficiency and minimize costs. •Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential challenges and propose appropriate solutions. •Ensure that work is completed in accordance with plans and specifications to high quality standards. •Maintain project schedules and ensure that work is completed on time, taking corrective action in the event of delays. •Track expenditures against the planned budget, prepare financial reports and recommend adjustments in the event of cost overruns. •Ensure that projects comply with safety standards, building codes, environmental regulations and contractual requirements. •Prepare regular reports on the progress of projects, document changes and keep all relevant information up to date for effective traceability. •Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure their satisfaction, address their concerns and adjust plans according to their needs. Requirements •Degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture or a related field, or experience in construction. •Experience in coordinating construction projects, including residential, commercial, institutional, industrial and/or civil engineering sectors (an asset). •Knowledge of the construction industry and health and safety standards and requirements on construction sites. •Understanding of construction techniques, project management methods, and safety standards. •Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients. •Experience with project management software (e.g. MS Project, Primavera) and office tools (MS Office). •Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while respecting deadlines and budgets. •Valid driver's license and ability to travel to different sites. •Reliability, autonomy, resourcefulness and results-oriented.
