Add expected salary to your profile for insights Role Description The incumbent will be responsible for managing complex procurement projects, negotiating contracts with suppliers, and building strong relationships with key vendors. Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage the procurement of goods and services for assigned categories, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and quality standards.
2. Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to identify and secure the most qualified and cost-effective suppliers.
3. Conduct thorough market research and supplier analysis to evaluate potential vendors and negotiate optimal pricing and terms.
4. Manage and develop strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and open communication.
5. Oversee the entire procurement process, from requisition to contract management and performance evaluation.
6. Implement and maintain effective procurement policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and internal guidelines.
7. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the procurement function.
8. Analyse procurement data and generate reports to identify trends, track performance, and measure cost savings.
9. Stay informed about market trends, industry best practices, and legal developments impacting procurement.
10. Contribute to the development and implementation of the overall procurement strategy for ProtectHealth.

Requirement

1. A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is required.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior procurement role, preferably within the healthcare industry.
3. Proven track record of success in achieving cost savings and optimizing procurement processes.
4. Proven experience in managing complex procurement projects and processes.
5. Strong understanding of sourcing strategies, negotiation techniques, and contract management principles.
6. Proficient in procurement software and technology tools.
