Description The Architect is responsible for the design, planning and supervision of the construction of buildings and structures. Working within a construction company or an architectural firm, the Architect works closely with clients, engineers and other construction professionals to create designs that are functional, aesthetic and compliant with regulatory standards. He plays a key role in transforming client ideas and needs into detailed, actionable plans. Responsibilities •Design architectural projects taking into account client needs, budgets and technical constraints. •Develop architectural plans for all phases of the project, sketches and models to visualize the projects. •Oversee all phases of projects, from initial design to final construction. •Coordinate the efforts of design teams, construction teams and external consultants. •Work closely with customers to understand their expectations and requirements. •Present design concepts to clients and stakeholders, and incorporate their feedback into final plans. •Ensure projects comply with building codes, zoning regulations and other applicable laws. •Prepare the necessary documents to obtain building permits. •Produce detailed technical documents, including specifications, drawings and quotes. •Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create accurate and detailed plans. •Carry out site visits to ensure that work is carried out in accordance with plans and specifications. •Troubleshoot technical issues and make changes to plans as necessary. Requirements •Degree in architecture from an accredited school. •Architect's license, depending on local requirements. •Experience in architectural design and project management, an asset. •Experience in the design of different types of buildings (residential, commercial, industrial), an asset •Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and 3D modeling tools. •Extensive knowledge of building materials, construction techniques and building regulations. •Excellent verbal and written communication skills. •Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with various construction professionals. •Creativity and keen eye for detail. •Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. •Project management skills and ability to proactively resolve issues.
