Job Description In your new role you will:
- Perform PFA generalist job, i.e. XSEM, Construction Analysis, Chemical & other within timeline independently.
- Perform PFA specialist job, i.e. SEM/EDX, FIB, PFA Flow, delayering, AFM/SCM, etc. within timeline independently.
- Support high impact jobs for IFKM (mainly) and IFX (globally) independently and being FA representative during the meeting.
- Deliver a comprehensive, conclusive and good quality results and report for problematic wafers/samples which leading to root cause investigation.
- Provide technical guidance in multiple Fields of Knowledge to Engineers, Assistant engineers and lab technicians pertaining to defect analysis.
- Provide on job training for junior engineers.
- Demonstrate medium of mental, analytical skills and problem solving.
- Ability to evaluate the problems and provide the solution.
- Responsible for assigned KPI and tool, outsource job support to IFX or external lab and wafer/sample shipment arrangement to IFX / external lab.
- Ensure correct quotation provided by external lab.
- Ensure the results provided by external lab is within committed timeline.
- Responsible being a coordinator between internal customer and external lab in case discussion is needed.
- Compliance to lab instruction, VA, APA and SOP, safe chemical handling.
- Adhere to Environmental, Safety and ESD compliance regulations.
- Participate in IFX user group meeting, i.e. Contributor for Best Practice Sharing.
- Ensure 5S in place while in the office and FA lab.
- Ph.D/Master/Degree holder in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Applied Science with major in Physics/Chemistry/Material Science.
- 3 years or more of hands-on experience in semiconductor failure analysis field.
- Working familiarity with analysis tools like SEM/EDX and sample preparation tools like polisher/grinder.
- Good fundamental knowledge of semiconductor devices and structure.
