Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitors and analyzes company cash position to cover cash commitments; manages movement of funds between accounts, assuring adequate balances; coordinates all activities relating to banking; evaluates bank services and fees, and monitors bank performance.
- Manages the Cash Application Department and ensures the prompt processing and banking of cash receipts.
- Develops and maintains reliable cash forecasting and status monitoring systems in preparation of cash forecasts.
- Oversees all Corporate Purchasing Card and T&E card activities within the company. Establishes and maintains relationships with merchant banks and ensures that all purchasing card activity is in compliance with company policy.
- Buys and sells foreign exchange to meet company commitments; facilitates the most economic transfer of funds.
- Supervises payroll timekeeping function and related activities.
- Analyzes financial records to forecast future financial position and budget requirements.
- Prepares routine and ad-hoc reports for internal and external distribution.
- Coordinates activities set by Corporate Treasury and any special projects.
- Assists in the month-end close process, including preparation of month end journals, and B/S reconciliation sheets.
- Prepares and maintains inter-company recharge system and reconciliation of inter-company accounts.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any Finance / Accounting course or Business Administration courses.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing industry.
- At least 3 years of leadership experience.
