Riyadh, Saudi Arabia | Posted on 11/25/2024 As an Inventory Accountant at PAUSEAWAY, you will be responsible for utilizing your knowledge of accounting principles to ensure that all transactions related to inventory are properly recorded in the company’s financial records. You will also be responsible for managing and organizing the movement of goods and materials in and out of stores in arrangement with vendors, procurement, and internal departments. You'll oversee all store operations, including shipping and receiving of products, inventory management, stock control, and ensuring goods are properly stored and labeled. Additionally, you will work closely with other departments to ensure that all orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. Finally, you will collaborate with the accounting team from HQ to ensure all accounting tasks related to the property are completed within a specific timeline. Responsibilities:

  • Maintains and monitors the accuracy of inventory and timely replenishment.
  • Ensures all documentation related to their responsibility is accurately processed, distributed, and released in a timely manner.
  • Ensures all responsibilities comply with the company policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Supervises invoicing/billing to support the payment process.
  • Reports all warehouse activities on a monthly basis to procurement and accounting departments.
  • Ensures physical stock take is correct in comparison to the system and provides explanations for variances.
  • Handles and deposits cash transactions.
  • Substantiates financial transactions by auditing the documents.
  • Produces error-free accounting reports and presents their results.
  • Supports month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Communicates with management on work status and client (internal/external) issues that arise.
  • Assists in new processes and system implementation when required.
  • Coordinates and liaises with internal parties to support intercompany activities.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in a similar position for at least 1-2 years.
  • Excellent English language skills; Arabic is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal, writing, listening, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and a creative problem-solver.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and in a team setting.
