The trainer will lead and mentor a team, continuously improving curriculum design, learning processes, and training effectiveness. Job Summary

  • Lead Generation, opportunity management and closing deals – Responsible for attaining an aggressive yearly sales target, taking the lead on numerous deals, including executing training contracts when applicable.
  • Collaborate with business partners and stakeholders across training lead generation and requirements to determine the most effective Google training and knowledge management strategy to support Google products and workflows.
  • Drive innovation at scale and effective onboarding and training solutions.
  • Manage learning strategy, training security, and content access design across the training population.
  • Lead and coach a team of training programs by improving and managing team & trainer processes for curriculum design, continuous learning, and measuring training efficacy.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual revenue and growth targets by establishing sales goals and monitoring the status of these goals.
  • Examine and choose teaching materials from various members and trainers to ensure high-quality training courses.
  • Keep the company’s training programs and plans relevant by maintaining and updating our knowledge base regularly.
  • Prepare the learning environment and resources, including equipment, ensure Awantec’s training facilities and associated training resources are properly maintained, and be aware of health and safety requirements.
Training Delivery Management
  • Examine the effectiveness of implemented training and the work of educators to optimise future courses and techniques.
  • Oversee overall training onboarding program implementation and measurement, including the community of team/trainers.
  • Establish and implement training Framework, practices, and methodologies for Awantec’s Training roadmap and goals.
  • Develop and implement effective training plans, content for training sessions, and matrixes to keep track of staff training.
Team Leadership and Management
  • Be a thought leader for Training Leadership with Awantec’s team, partners and clients.
  • Ensure the transfer of relevant and best training management practices to develop the company's technical capability and expertise for partners and clients.
  • Set KPI performance targets for direct reports and conduct performance reviews.
  • Oversee training courses and its related activities for the delivery of training programs on time, within scope and on budget.
  • Manage the resources and competing priorities across multiple training programs.
Training Development, Tracking and Monitoring
  • Develop and implement effective training plans, content for training sessions, and matrixes to keep track of staff training
  • Co-ordinate, oversee and/or undertake impartial project reviews and health checks to ensure the overall ‘delivery safety’ of training, addressing actions and requirements arising from these reviews.
  • Track and provide delivery training status and audit reports.
  • Develop effective plans to improve various aspects of the sales training available in Awantec.
Sales and Client Management
  • Works together with Sales Management, experts and marketing to design and develop sales training program agendas, curricula, content and training materials used in training
  • Actively work transversally across Google stakeholders, government, and commercial and with all relevant clients (locally and globally) to assess, recommend, prioritise and implement training solutions aligned with business needs.
  • Lead in the evolution of program and training management to improve the delivery of solutions to business clients and leverage programs and projects.
  • Act as the key relationship manager for assigned clients and training opportunities.
  • Prepare statements of work for training management services, consulting with Sales and Service leaders to ensure appropriate sales sizing and management of partner and client expectations.
Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • Google Certification - Professional Data Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect.
  • Google Certified Trainer.
  • Minimum of 5 years of previous sales industry experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in a similar training role
  • Strong understanding of staff relations and training demand

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships
  • Good listening skills, with high levels of attention to detail
  • Able to understand and work in line with SLA’s and KPIs
  • Demonstrate specialist knowledge and practical experience of training methodologies to ensure the successful delivery of Awantec’s training deliveries.
