Job Title: Quality Engineer (6-Month Contract, Hybrid) Location: Toronto Job Type: Contract (6 months) Work Arrangement: Hybrid Job Description : We are seeking a skilled Quality Engineer for a 6-month contract role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in API testing and be proficient with tools such as Postman and SOA Test. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can ensure the quality and reliability of our API services. Key Responsibilities : Design, develop, and execute API test cases. Utilize Postman and SOA Test for API testing. Identify, document, and track defects and issues. Collaborate with development teams to understand API requirements and functionality. Ensure comprehensive test coverage and maintain test documentation. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on API design and implementation. Mandatory Qualifications: Proven experience in API testing. Proficiency with Postman and SOA Test. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms. Familiarity with RESTful and SOAP web services. Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
