As the Customer Success Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to use technology to help solve environmental challenges. The Customer Success Manager works full-time (40 hrs/week) and reports directly to the Team Lead of Customer Success. This position serves as the primary point of contact for clients. This is an individual contributor role, and therefore does not manage any staff. Work requires the exercise of considerable judgment, initiative, and discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the client onboarding process from start to finish, ensuring a smooth transition onto the platform.
  • Develop and maintain strong professional relationships to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify and communicate with clients how add-on products and services can help them achieve their goals.
  • Guide informational training and webinars with clients to help them become product experts.
  • Foster inter-departmental collaboration across marketing, sales, and product teams.
  • Facilitate in-person connections and provide support as needed on occasion.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in customer success; prior experience in local/county government, the solid waste/recycling management industry, and/or sustainability programming is strongly preferred.
  • A strong knowledge of municipal waste/disposal practices.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
  • A proven track record of innovative problem-solving and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work collaboratively with other departments.
  • Proficiency with CRM software; knowledge of HubSpot and Jira is a plus.
  • A valid State of Illinois Driver’s License for travel in-state for client meetings (1-2x per month).
  • A valid Passport for limited travel (2-4x per year) to Toronto, Canada is required for company meetings.
The starting salary range is $50,000-$60,000 +/- DOQ. Recycle Coach offers a benefits package that includes a flexible remote environment, bonus program eligibility, 15 days of paid vacation, 1 paid bonus day for your birthday, 5 paid personal days, and a QSEHRA with a monthly allowance towards health expenses including purchasing a health plan.
