Manage renovations and improvements, ensuring work is completed to high standards. Ensure all systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, elevators, etc.) operate optimally. Monitor and manage preventative maintenance schedules to avoid unexpected breakdowns. Supervise and coordinate repairs for rooms, public areas, kitchens, and facilities. Submit the property maintenance and utilities budget yearly to ensure expenses are in line with budget. Develop and maintain effective administrative and communication systems and requirements. Communicate and follow up with stakeholders about specific maintenance projects and their goals. Obtain maximum expenditure control through effective use of manpower and physical assets. Communicate with respective departments about delays and any other issues that must be communicated to guests. Liaise with consultants such as interior designers, architects, quantity surveyors, MEP engineers, lighting consultants, audio-visual consultants, and procurement agents. Implement and upgrade systems as required by corporate product standards. Establish the Equipment Data record keeping and preventive maintenance of Mechanical, Electrical, Fire & Safety, Civil, Guest rooms, public areas, kitchen, back of the house, and audiovisual. Develop cost control programs through energy-saving schedules. Ensure effective practice and enforcement of local regulatory compliance to Fire Department, Machinery, and Health and Safety. Conduct staff evaluations as per requirements. Initiate and coordinate all work-related schedules. Maintain employee relations, communication, motivation, and good relationships. Support the successful maintenance of the hotel and project delivery.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or in an equivalent Technical Field.
• Minimum 6 years of management experience in a similar capacity in a 5-star international hotel.
• Basic competency in Engineering & maintenance management, Project Engineering encompassing Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil (Structural) and other relevant scopes.
• Regulatory compliance competency i.e. City Hall and Fire Department.
• Basic competency in Occupational Health and Safety matters.
• Familiar with Project-based tendering Contract management scopes and able to prepare Tender and Bid documents.
• Financial Budgeting and Planning experience.
• Strength in organizational and administrative skills.
• Excellent business communication skills (verbal and written English).
• Strong leadership skills and customer-focused.
• Performance-driven, assertive, self-motivator, hardworking, experienced, and mature personality.
