  • This is a unique opportunity to join Mediaocean during an exciting period of growth to build the global Media Finance product within our mission-critical platform for omnichannel advertising. Work with global teams and clients throughout Asia, Australia, India, the US, and the UK. This will be an opportunity for you to belong to a high-performing team and learn from industry leaders in media finance and software development.
  • This is an entry role where we will teach and mentor in the following areas:
  • Analysis of business problems and requirements
  • Writing requirements, and communicating this to the engineering team
  • Agile development methodologies, and software development cycles
  • Product management principles and processes
  • Client-facing verbal and written communication
  • Overview of Media and Media Finance in different regions and markets
Tasks/Duties will include:
  • Be involved in all phases of the product life cycle; from understanding the business problem to identifying business requirements and designing the solution in collaboration with product managers and engineering teams.
  • Understand how to derive transaction journal entries (debits and credits)
  • Work with engineering teams to integrate the Media Finance product with various core accounting systems
  • Communicate requirements to the engineering teams, participating in daily scrums and agile ceremonies.
  • Own your own team backlog, regularly refining and prioritizing based on commercial and roadmap priorities
Who You Are:
  • Completed or near completion of a degree majoring in accounting
  • Completed, or near completion of a degree in IT, preferred but not necessary
  • Someone who wants to learn and is self-motivated
  • Someone who loves accounting, numbers, and understanding, validating, and analyzing data
  • You want to be in the middle of everything; a product manager wants to be involved in every discussion, find answers to every problem, and influence everyone to make things better.
