Job Responsibilities:

  1. Hotel/Building technical background required.
  2. Skilled in general maintenance work involved in all aspects of hotel maintenance, both internal and external.
  3. Knowledge in carpentry, plumbing, electrical wiring, tiling, flooring, painting and decorating.
  4. Do installations, inspections, diagnose faults, testing, replacement, repair and maintenance of building, fixtures and fittings.
  5. Do general plumbing - washers, taps, unblocking toilets, unblocking stacks, installing new sinks, urinals and toilets, pipework (copper or PVC).
  6. Do general carpentry such as hanging doors, new locks, architraves, window frames, boxing-in, assembling furniture, easing and adjusting windows, replacing handles and similar hardware.
  7. Do general tiling - floors and walls.
  8. Do floor works such as carpet tiles.
  9. Do general painting and decorating.
  10. Perform any other duties as may be required by the Management.

Requirements:

  1. You must possess a SPM certificate with at least 2 years' experience as a technician in a hotel/service apartment.
  2. Skilled in DIY and general maintenance including basic carpentry, plumbing, replacement of tiling and flooring, air-conditioner servicing, and painting and decorating.
  3. You will be required to work on shift, weekends, and public holidays as required.
  4. You will report to the Property Maintenance Manager/Lead Technician.
  5. This will include regular checks and assessments of both private and public areas, liaising with housekeeping, performing jobs as and when they are required.
