Join Highfield Healthcare’s New Community Mental Health Initiative! Highfield Healthcare is excited to announce the launch of a new Community-Based Mental Health Service , opening March 2025 , designed to meet the evolving needs of adults aged 18+ in Lucan, West Dublin, and Kildare . This cutting-edge initiative will provide a seamless continuum of care with:

  1. Day Hospital : Onsite therapeutic and medical interventions.
  2. Home-Based Treatment Service : Acute care delivered in the comfort of a person’s home.
  3. Outpatient Services : Flexible access to ongoing mental health support.
This service is underpinned by mental health “ Recovery ” principles and offers direct access to inpatient care when clinically required, ensuring comprehensive support for our service users. To lead this innovative service, we are recruiting an enthusiastic and dynamic team of mental health nurses. Eligibility Criteria
  1. Be registered on the Psychiatric Division of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
  2. Have the clinical and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.
  3. Maintain annual registration with NMBI.
  4. Be flexible in relation to work pattern.
  5. Have a clear, open and friendly communication style with the ability to respond quickly and appropriately across a variety of situations.
  6. Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
  7. Have a clear commitment to person-centred care and strong interpersonal skills.
  8. Have fluent spoken and written English.
  9. Be familiar with Mental Health Services in Ireland.
