Responsibilities :- Manage and maintain software licenses within ServiceNow SAM Pro, ensuring accurate and up-to-date inventory of all software assets.- Identify and reconcile software usage discrepancies to ensure compliance with vendor licenses.- Perform software license audits and reviews to identify potential risks and opportunities for optimization.- Negotiate software license renewals with vendors to secure the best possible pricing and terms.- Develop and implement policies and procedures for software acquisition, deployment, and retirement.- Monitor and track software usage trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction and improved resource allocation.- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure software is managed effectively across the organization.- Stay up-to-date on the latest SAM best practices and industry regulations.Qualifications :- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in software asset management or a related field.- Proven experience in using ServiceNow SAM Pro or a similar SAM tool.- Strong understanding of software licensing models, agreements, and compliance requirements.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.- Strong organizational and time management skills (ref:hirist.tech)
