The Senior Service Engineer is responsible for performing service delivery activities on all medical equipment distributed according to GDPMDS requirements, including safety testing, routine maintenance, and repair. This role includes spare parts planning with accountability for Operational KPIs. Manage 3 engineers by creating schedules, delegating tasks, prioritizing, and overseeing day-to-day operations. Perform commercial/project-related support activities on products and processes as required within the area of responsibility. Fulfill the requirements as a senior mentor on assigned medical devices (or technologies) and have the ability to teach and train/re-train internal engineers and external customers. Help team members with problems and guide their work towards quality and guideline compliance. Constantly possess good initiative, with a desire for continuous learning. Perform quality checks and final release of serviced equipment repaired by another Junior Engineer as required. Establish and maintain excellent communication and partnership with customers, vendors, internal business contacts (Sales, Customer Services, HR, Finance, Logistics, and IT), and team members; ensure all activities are performed following the available instructions and information, driven to deliver high-quality service. Provide quality customer service, including interacting with customers, answering customer inquiries, and effectively handling customer complaints. Actively participate in internal sales (or project) communication and meetings where appropriate. Factory equipment improvement (if required); work closely with the Supervisor to carry out the above activity whenever required. Work in conjunction with the Supervisor to establish, streamline, and develop workflow, work standards, testing procedures, and process improvement related policies and procedures for equipment commissioning and repair activities and PM procedures. Review critical spare parts inventory and suggest parts to be topped up for optimal service to customers. Keep track of distributed equipment assets, service, and renewals contracts. Support the supervisor and perform management duties when the Supervisor is absent or out of office. Adhere to company laid down policies, regulations, guideline compliance, and team goals. Maintain Equipment and Technical Diagnostics Support Develop maintenance plans, schedule, and coordinate with customers on equipment's commissioning readiness, testing, repair, and routine predictive preventive maintenance. With effective problem diagnostic skills and the ability to handle multiple problems at once. Review equipment and facility past performance records and documentation. Maintenance should be performed based on manufacturers' recommended protocols with full and accurate documentation of results and/or results of activities performed (e.g., equipment unpacking, recommissioning prior to delivery, and assisting preparation of 'Delivery Documents'). Operative prioritization and planning to achieve Service Level KPIs as set by the organization during troubleshooting and repair work. Accurately report service data with acknowledgment by the customer on work performed. Prepare service quotations to customer inquiries (working closely with the supervisor). Able to take on standby (or any unanticipated operational support) duties during out-of-office hours. Natural interest in IT applications. Basic use of current Windows Operating Systems. Basic use of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, MS Forms, etc.). Requirements Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / BioMedical Engineering or related faculty. Strong team player, with the ability to work independently. Possess good initiative, with a desire for continuous learning.
