Working pattern: Monday- Friday from 12:00 to 20:00 Location: Lisnamuck, Co Longford Purpose of the Role To undertake daily kitchen cleaning duties in line with Health & Safety Standards. - Prepare food as requested by Head Chef
- Prepare dining area
- Collect trays, put dirty dishes in the dishwasher, wash trays in hot soapy water and wipe trolley.
- Unload dishwasher and clean filter and dishwasher.
- Check pantry for daily supplies, restock containers daily.
- Make sure before filling and restocking, containers are washed in hot soapy water.
- Clean fridge, microwave, toaster, oven, refill dishwashing liquid, check rinse aid in dishwasher.
- Check fridges and clean inside and out daily.
- Wipe down kitchenette cupboards inside and out.
- Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and kitchenette
- General housekeeping and cleaning
- Undertake general cleaning of all areas of the building, including offices, floors, corridors, stairwells and toilets, etc.
- Dusting and washing floors and walls
- Sweeping, floor polishing and waste disposal
- Inform the Supervisor/Manager of stock required for replenishing purposes
- Undertake any other duties as requested
- A can-do attitude
- Experience of a similar role
- Good working knowledge of English
- Knowledge and willingness to apply safe working practices
- Knowledge of how to use the equipment necessary to carry out the assigned tasks.
