Purpose Statement: The Cinema Manager oversees revenue generation and manages cinema operations in compliance with regulations and company standards, ensuring a quality customer experience and maintaining operational efficiency. This role requires the development of the team, effective cinema management, and adherence to shift schedules, even if it means extending work hours. Main Outputs and Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Management: Understanding of financial statements, OPEX management, profit improvement, budget planning, cash handling, and financial reporting.
  2. Cinema Strategic Planning: Revenue growth, strategic objective execution.
  3. Organization and Deliverables: Product knowledge, market analysis, stock control, reporting, stakeholder relationship management, property and facilities management, marketing and sales functions, cinema standards maintenance.
  4. People Management and Development: Staff direction, motivation, training, employee engagement, performance management, succession planning, and compliance with labor legislation.
  5. Corporate Governance & Compliance: Integrating group standards, legislative compliance, control measures, risk and asset register maintenance, compliance audits.
  6. Planning & Decision Making: Resource planning, tactical execution, business acumen, decision-making, performance issue diagnosis.
  7. Problem Solving: Resolving diverse issues, customer service, process optimization, innovative solutions.
  8. Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  9. Other Requirements: Ability to work shifts, own transport.
  10. Systems: MS Office Suite (Intermediate), VISTA or Positive (advantageous).
  11. Experience: 3-5 years in a similar role.
  12. Knowledge and Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, administration, organizational, leadership, interpersonal, analytical, and assertiveness skills.
