Project Manager will be responsible for successful execution and delivery of the Machine Monitoring and Protection system project as per client agreed schedule and specifications and SKF's committed scope. Key responsibilities for this role will be:

  1. To successfully execute and deliver the Project as per client agreed schedule with compliance to client specifications and adherence to SKF scope, within the budgeted costs and efficiency.
  2. To develop, implement and monitor Project Execution plan, schedule, and Project Quality Plan including HSE policy for the project.
  3. To interface with SKF management for sourcing, technical guidance and training as needed to develop the team skills per project requirements.
  4. To interface with the clients for the Project Progress, monitoring, quality review, schedule etc.
  5. To interface with the suppliers for delivery of products and services as per Project schedule and SKF specifications derived from Project specs and SKF project scope.
  6. To lead the project team and chair internal team meetings to review progress, discuss problems/risk areas, review outstanding work items, review impact of recent decisions and discuss potential scope changes on a regular basis.
  7. To plan and design the project and pro-actively monitor its overall progress, resolving issues, initiating and keeping record of corrective and preventive actions.
  8. To manage the project team and individuals skills, progress and productivity as per the project requirements.
  9. To ensure delivery of project compliant to client's specifications, applicable international standards and SKF's technical and quality standards.
  10. To identify and monitor the SKF scope from project specifications and client standards. Resolve any conflicts arising out of interpretations or open specifications with adherence to SKF budget, scope and basis from the time of bidding.
  11. To manage the project's budget, monitoring the expenditures.
Education / Experience Requirement
  1. Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering.
  2. Minimum 8 years experience in Monitoring & Protection Systems/Control Systems/Automation Project Engineering and Project Management.
  3. Experience of delivering projects for automation/control systems to Saudi Aramco, SABIC, Shell, ADCO and other major Oil & Gas and Energy segment end-users would be considered as significant advantage.
  4. Good knowledge of relevant international standards for the Monitoring and Protection Systems and Automation/Control Systems.
  5. Well versed in MS Projects, Microsoft Office and other reporting/monitoring tools.
  6. Project Management / Engineering experience during the EPC (Engineering / Procurement / Construction) phase of implementation of Monitoring System/Control Systems/Automation Projects is essential.
  7. Demonstrated achievement in coordinating service delivery and technical projects at the customer.
  8. Experience in leading multi-functional teams and a good team-player.
  9. Capability to influence at all levels of internal and external organizations and across cultures.
  10. Ability to manage in uncertain situations, think out of the box, and continuously look for improvement opportunities.
  11. Understanding and experience of Quality Management System ISO 9000, Environment and Safety Standards ISO 14000, OHSAS 18000.
