Job title: Financial Controller 80-90k Dublin Company: One Agency Recruitment Job description: Our client, a leading FMCG organisation, is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join their team in Dublin 15. The Financial Controller will provide end-to-end management of the finance function. Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts for management and stakeholders.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting activities, providing insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance.
• Compliance & Controls: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, implementing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, optimizing liquidity to support operational needs and strategic initiatives.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
• Audit Coordination: Manage relationships with external auditors, coordinating the annual audit process and ensuring all necessary documentation is provided.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor finance staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's goals.
• Policy Development: Develop and enforce financial policies and procedures to promote efficiency and effectiveness within the finance department.
• Ad hoc duties as required.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field – CPA or CMA preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years+ of experience in a financial management role, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices.
• Proven experience with budgeting and forecasting.
• Proficient in financial software with strong Excel experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience leading finance in an SME.
• FMCG/Retail/Logistics sector experience.
