JOB SUMMARY
- Provide a broad range of HR support and consulting services, serving as primary contact and advisor to managers and employees.
- Implement Human Resources policies, partnering with business operations to ensure a complete understanding of business needs and objectives. Resolve HR-related issues.
- Responsible for and serve as a liaison for most of the following areas: Employee relations, employment, talent management, labor relations, employment, compensation & benefits, recruitment, occupational health and/or training and development.
- Provide support in functional areas of HR, including but not limited to, employee relations and employment, talent management, personnel records, employee and/or labor relations, job evaluation, compensation & benefits, organization development, recruitment, training, occupational health and special projects.
- Responsible for the implementation of human resources policies and procedures, and their dissemination through induction, employee booklets, communications, and/or meetings.
- Plan, conduct, and coordinate the development, approval and implementation of localized HR programs, and administer same in functions such as employment, compensation, benefits, training and employee relations.
- Implement and administer corporate-wide HR initiatives.
- Provide staff with consulting support and expertise in the investigation of new personnel programs.
- May conduct research into company-wide HR practices, policies and procedures
- Conduct studies to determine feasibility, cost benefits and potential HR program applications.
- Prepare reports in conformance with legislated requirements or organization needs.
- Aligning HR strategies with business objectives, owning and being held accountable for HR results and partnering with business to understand and support needs and requirements.
- Manage delivery of change programs in support of aligning strategy, people, processes and structure.
- Understand the talent needs inside the organization to support business needs.
- Provide oversight, supervision and direction to deliver HR programs and services designed to meet the unique needs of the functional groups.
- Develop and implement training strategies including partnership with corporate learning and development team to build appropriate solutions.
- Assist in building strong organizational culture.
- BS/BA or equivalent,
- 6 years’ plus experience in employee relations/human resources.
- Must be task orientated, with the ability to adjust to multiple priorities in a short period of time.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Ability to communicate with other team members, visitors, and customers, at all times, in an effective, pleasant, courteous and tactful manner.
- Ability to manage projects to successful completion.
- Proficient in use of PCs, MS Office suite
