Expected salary range of $75,600 to $84,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k). PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION The Technical Training Instructor is responsible for the delivery, and evaluation of &ldquoBest in Class&rdquo technical training for all field personnel. The Technical Training Instructor supports the Company mission, vision, and core values by modeling a positive customer service spirit, exhibiting a friendly and helpful attitude, demonstrating initiative and innovation, and embracing diversity, while ensuring our field personnel receive training that results in improved productivity and increased customer satisfaction and loyalty. Â PRIMARY DUTIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Responsible for the effective execution of all field training programs.
- Provides regular feedback to the Director &ndash Training & Customer Experience, GMs and Managers pertaining to the growth of the apprenticeship programs.
- Develops and writes complete reports covering department operations.
- Maintains knowledge of field operations, Company policies and procedures, equipment, components, and skills and techniques necessary to conduct effective, high-quality training.
- Recommends improvements in procedures, policies, standards, processes, methods, and equipment and assists in developing training and non-training solutions to current issues and trends.
- Develops and conducts training classes and prepares related course materials including lesson plans and hands-on learning activities.
- Ensures the company&rsquos safety strategy is reinforced in all training material and presentations.
- Supports field operations, including service and installation units to resolve special management cases to ensure customer satisfaction.
- May serve on committees/teams as required (Training Advisory Boards, Safety Committees).
- Candidate must hold an HVAC Journeyman&rsquos license, EPA Certification, Gas Fitter&rsquos license and have a minimum of 10 years&rsquo experience in servicing and/or installing HVAC equipment including high efficiency furnaces, electric heat, heat pumps, humidifiers, air cleaners and other related accessories or have an EPA Certification and/or Gas Fitter&rsquos license and a minimum of 10 years&rsquo experience in servicing appliances.
- Experience in training others.
- Valid Driver&rsquos license and meets Company driving standards.
- Must be able to physically complete service and/or installation work in conjunction with training and/or special jobs.
- Ability to effectively execute training programs in a hands-on, classroom, or remote (&ldquomobile&rdquo) setting for all business unit categories offered by Constellation HOME including HVAC, Appliance, Plumbing, Electrical Service, and Installation divisions.
- Computer literate with ability to effectively analyze data and recommend, design, develop, deliver, and evaluate training coursework and material.
- Advanced skills in resolving complex multi repeat technical service and/or installation issues related to products and services offered to include effectively addressing and resolving customer concerns in person and over the phone.
- Excellent customer care skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills and presentation techniques.
- Proactive, self-starter with demonstrated ability to anticipate future needs.
- Knowledge in the following:
- HVAC Service OR HVAC Installation or Appliance Service, seen as a subject matter expert
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook E-mail, and PowerPoint.
