Working closely with the senior management to deliver high value reports to senior committees including EXCO, Board, RemCO and other governance committees covering the Management Information (MI), Forecast, Business Plan and remuneration activities. Key Responsibilities:- MI deliverables: Support the production of regular MI and Board reports covering financial, strategic and operational KPIs. Support the continuous improvement and enhancement of MI to ensure the content is relevant, actionable, and insightful for performance management and business decisions.
- Work closely with other teams: Collaborate with other Group Finance teams (reporting, financial controller, Investor Relations, and Strategic Finance), other Group teams (Strategy, Health, Customer, and Distribution) and local business units. Ensure relevant inputs and reviews are incorporated. Support the team in the role as the single source of truth.
- Modernisation and automation: Work closely with the Transformation Team (including data and technology) to support the modernization and automation of processes and tools. Leverage technology and platforms to enable better analytics capabilities, reduce manual effort and improve data quality.
- Process, Controls and Governance: Support to maintain and enhance the processes, controls, and governance, including documentation and reviews. Deliver high quality MI and communicate effectively with Group stakeholders and LBUs; communicate effectively with broader teams throughout the organisation, build trusted working relationships, coordinate and produce deliverables in a timely manner. Continuously improve and enhance underlying processes and technology solutions to enable efficiency and high-quality products.
- 6-9 years relevant industry experience in MI and performance management, with Life Insurance knowledge preferred.
- Highly organised mindset with experience in multi-tasking across stakeholders, offices, and departments.
- An analytical mindset, with the ability to apply critical thinking, identify and bring out the key messages from a broad set of information.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and able to present the financial results and information to the team.
- Experience in FP&A roles is a strong preference.
- Fluent in Microsoft applications. Coding and PowerBI skills are advantageous.
