Job Title: Network Engineer-Senior AssociateExperience Level : 5-10 YearsLocation : GurugramKey Responsibilities :- Design, implement, and maintain Cisco-based network solutions.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network infrastructure meets organizational requirements.- Identify and resolve network-related issues promptly to minimize downtime.- Conduct regular system audits to ensure optimal performance and security.- Implement and manage network security protocols to safeguard against unauthorized access and cyber threats.- Stay updated on industry best practices for network security and implement necessary measures.- Monitor network performance and proactively address any bottlenecks or performance issues.- Optimize network configurations for maximum efficiency and reliability.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures.- Create and update network diagrams, ensuring they reflect the current state of the network.Technologies :- Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco routers and switches.- Experience with Cisco/Checkpoint firewalls and VPN configurations.- Knowledge of Cisco Catalyst and Nexus series switches.- Strong understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).- VLAN management and implementation.- Experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies.- Implementation and management of firewall policies.- Familiarity with intrusion detection and prevention systems.- Configuration and management of Cisco wireless controllers and access points.- Troubleshooting wireless connectivity issues.- Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, or Cisco Prime.- Ability to analyze network performance metrics and take corrective actions.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent certification is required.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team (ref:hirist.tech)
