Working seamlessly with business line home offices, project sites, customer organizations and suppliers, our teams have delivered more than 125 projects since our inception in 1994. Our offices in Gurgaon, Vadodara and Chennai will grow significantly and sustainably with exciting career opportunities for both professionals and young graduates who are passionate about creating a cleaner, greener, and safer world; building transformational infrastructure; making decarbonization a reality; and protecting people and the environment.   Job Summary: Civil Engineer with more than 16+ years of experience in General Civil Works like site grading, earthworks, drainage, roads and pavements, fencing, underground piping systems and foundation design in a design office of repute for Solar Energy Projects. Should have exposure to design office practices and familiarity with computer aided design and 3D modeling tools. Experience in PMC role in Solar Projects will be preferred.   Major Responsibilities:

• Prepare design criteria, specifications, and construction documents.
• Review civil engineering aspects of Solar energy projects including site layout, grading, drainage, access roads, and foundations.
• Review structural engineering drawings and calculations for Module Mounting Structures, Foundation for Inverter and Transformer and associated design in Solar energy project.
• Conduct site visits and assessments to gather data necessary for project design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, environmental specialists, and project managers to ensure project objectives are met.
• Perform feasibility studies and cost estimates for proposed cost saving value engineering.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and codes.
• Review and evaluate contractor bids and proposals.
• Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases of projects.
• Perform site inspections to monitor construction progress and quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise during project execution.
• Provide and/or assist technical training.

  Education and Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 4-year degree from an accredited college in Civil Engineering.
• Preference will be given to the candidate with master degree in relevant subject
• Experience of working in Solar Energy project shall be an added advantage.
• 16-20 years of relevant experience is required

  Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of discipline engineering techniques and design calculation principles.
• Knowledge of precedents and latest trends in General Civil and structural engineering, the principles and practices of related technical areas.
• Understanding of Engineering Procedures and design guides.
• Thorough understanding of the roles played by other engineering disciplines on projects.
• Understanding of industry and regulatory codes (API, NFPA / OISD, US / British / Euro / Canadian / Australian / Indian) and standards and design criteria pertinent to civil and structural engineering design.
• Knowledge of constructability and applicable standards and codes including OSHA.
• Experience of using general purpose design software such as InRoads / OpenRoads, Civil3D, CivilStorm / MicroDrainage / STAAD Pro
• Proficient in selection of material from constructability and total installed cost perspective.
• Skill in oral and written communication.
• Should be proficient in using MS office tools.
• Proven ability of managing a team of engineers and designers will be an added advantage.
