Truck Dispatcher, DXB Logistics Inc. Location: Bedford, NS. Salary:

25.00 hourly, / 40 to 50 hours per week. Full time. Day, evening,

early morning, morning. Starts as soon as possible. Languages English.

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Experience

1 to less than 7 months. Work setting. Willing to relocate.

Responsibilities: Ensure the accuracy of completed time sheets,

payroll, and other summaries. Ensure the proper functioning of

equipment. Maintain work records and logs. Monitor personnel workloads

and locations. Perform general office duties. Provide customer

service. Advise vehicle operators of traffic and other problems.

Assist with the maintenance of communications equipment. Dispatch

personnel according to schedules and work orders. Dispatch personnel

as required by emergency situations. Follow-up on issues with work

orders. Keep track of shipments. Maintain vehicle operator work

records. Record mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses.

Respond to urgent calls from individual who find themselves in

life-threatening situation and who require assistance. Schedule

assignments and co-ordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews and

equipment. Experience and specialization. Computer and technology

knowledge. Electronic mail. Spreadsheet. Internet.
