Description The Project Manager (roofing and tinsmithing) works within a company specializing in roofing and tinsmithing for residential, commercial, institutional and industrial projects. Its main role is to manage and coordinate all activities related to roofing and tinsmithing projects, ensuring their proper execution while respecting deadlines, budgets and quality standards. Responsibilities •Plan, organize and coordinate roofing and tinsmithing projects, establishing work schedules, budgets and necessary resources. •Ensure complete management of projects, from the submission phase to final delivery, ensuring that objectives are achieved within the set deadlines and according to client specifications. •Supervise and direct teams of workers on construction sites, ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with plans and established quality standards. •Ensure regular communication with customers, suppliers, subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure proper coordination of activities and meet customer needs. •Carry out regular site visits to monitor the progress of the work, identify potential problems and propose solutions to resolve them. •Manage administrative aspects of projects, including documentation, invoicing, tracking reporting and change management. •Ensure compliance with safety standards on construction sites, applying established safety procedures and ensuring team members have appropriate protective equipment. •Participate in business development activities to ensure the continued growth of the company and maintain good relationships with the various stakeholders involved in the project. •Maintain competitive market intelligence and propose continuous improvements to processes and work practices. Requirements •Degree in civil engineering, construction, project management, architecture or a related field. •Professional experience in the field of roofing and tinsmithing, with demonstrated experience in project management, an asset. •Strong project management skills, including planning, organizing, coordinating and monitoring activities. •Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. •Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while meeting deadlines and budgets. •Proficient in project management and office software, such as Microsoft Project, Excel and Word. •Valid driver's license and availability to travel to job sites according to business needs. •Commitment to operational excellence, customer satisfaction and compliance with quality and safety standards.
