Maintenance Fitter Our prestigious client, based in Shipdham, are looking for a Maintenance Fitter to join their well-established team. This is a full time, permanent position, located in Shipdham near Dereham. Working 47 hours per week , the working hours are: Monday Thursday 07:30 to 17:30 Friday 07:30 to 17:00 There is also a requirement to work at least two Saturdays out of four, from 06:00 to 13:00 Pay rates: First 40 hours: paid at your normal rate. 40+ hours: paid at time and a half Due to the Call Out element of this role, you must have a full UK driving Licence with access to a vehicle. Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

• Welding experience using Mig and stick welding
• Responding to breakdowns, general maintenance of plant machinery etc.
• Experience in the fabrication of metal work . Nothing of complexity, mostly frame builds etc.
• Metal sheet work i.e. folding.
• Able to replace bearings on machinery and other plant equipment.
• Mechanically Bias.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing and repairs.
• Can erect scaffolding, ladder safety check experience, steam work and boiler work (desirable)
• Can work using own initiative.

The successful Fabricator will have to manage being on a standby call out and attend the site in Shipdham for call out during hours of 16:30 to 06:00.
