Qualification & Experience:
- MPhil degree in social sciences and related fields.
- A minimum of 20 years of experience in a public organization is required. At least 12 years of experience in government relations, public administration, preferably in a university or government training institution.
- 10-12 years of teaching experience in a public or private academic institution.
- Monitoring and Oversight:
- Oversee the implementation of policies across the university to ensure compliance with requisite regulations.
- Develop monitoring systems to report and track university activities in line with institutional and regulatory guidelines.
- Provide recommendations to senior leadership on improving processes to facilitate smoother functions at NUST.
- Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to compliance frameworks by collaborating with internal departments and align their activities with NUST policies.
- Proficiency in developing and managing systems to monitor institutional processes, ensuring adherence to internal and external policies.
- Strong understanding of government processes, funding mechanisms, and public policy.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in reports & proposals.
- Candidates are required to attach scanned copies of their documents (Academics / Professional).
- Last education certificate/degree must be attested/verified by HEC.
- 3rd Div in academic career / weak academic profile.
- NUST employees with less than one year of service with NUST and / or absence of NOC from Head of Institution.
- In process of pursuing a required degree.
- Medically unfit.
