Job Description : Senior Developer AppDynamics & DynatraceLocation : RemoteJob Type : Full-timeExperience : Minimum 5+ years of relevant experienceJob Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Developer with in-depth hands-on expertise in AppDynamics and Dynatrace platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing application performance monitoring (APM) solutions. This role requires a proactive professional who can drive performance management strategies, troubleshoot complex system issues, and ensure seamless user experiences across critical applications.Key Responsibilities :- Architect and implement monitoring solutions using AppDynamics and Dynatrace to enhance system visibility and performance.- Configure dashboards, alerts, and custom instrumentation to monitor key application metrics effectively.- Optimize APM tools to identify performance bottlenecks, track application health, and improve end-user experiences.- Integrate APM tools with diverse technology stacks (Java, .NET, Python, microservices, containers, etc.- Design and develop scripts and custom plugins for advanced monitoring and automation requirements.- Collaborate with development teams to integrate monitoring during the SDLC and CI/CD pipelines.- Analyze APM data to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in real-time.- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for production incidents and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.- Recommend architectural changes and optimizations to improve application reliability and performance.- Work closely with application developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to align monitoring strategies with business goals.- Provide training and mentorship to team members on the effective use of AppDynamics and Dynatrace.- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including monitoring configurations, playbooks, and RCA reports.- Generate regular performance reports and present findings to senior leadership.Required Skills and Qualifications :Technical Expertise :- 5+ years of experience with AppDynamics and Dynatrace, including installation, configuration, and customization.- Strong knowledge of application architecture, including microservices, cloud-native platforms, and on-premise systems.- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages like Java, Python, Shell, or PowerShell.- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (e.g, Docker, Kubernetes).- Deep understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g, Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps) and their integration with APM platforms.Problem-Solving Skills :- Expertise in troubleshooting and diagnosing application performance issues.- Strong analytical skills for interpreting APM data and correlating metrics with system behavior.Additional Skills :- Familiarity with other monitoring tools (e.g, New Relic, Splunk, ELK Stack) is a plus.- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.Soft Skills :- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.- Ability to work independently and lead performance improvement initiatives.- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.Educational Qualifications :- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- Relevant certifications in AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or cloud platforms are a plus (ref:hirist.tech)
